In the Master Paintings and Sculpture: Part II auction, the work Still Life Of Game With A Bowl Of Plums And Peaches sold for USD 161,000.00 (€ 142,604.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre-François Desportes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chien Devant Un Trophée De Chasse, which sold at auction in March 2015 for EUR 339,000.00.
