Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Defaux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Printemps, poules sous le pommier en fleurs in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 14,340.00 (€ 12,352.49).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00.
