Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Camille And Louis by Auguste-Alexandre Hirsch was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,548.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Auguste-Alexandre Hirsch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Celebration of Spring in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 69,455.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Camille And Louis von Auguste-Alexandre Hirsch wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.548,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Auguste-Alexandre Hirsch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Celebration of Spring im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 69.455,20).
