Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alexandra Nechita could be acquired at Bonhams in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work When Spring Returns changed hands for USD 701.25 (€ 658.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandra Nechita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sky Diver II 60 x 36 in. (152.4 x 91.4 cm) framed 67 1/2 x 43 1/2 x 3 3/4 in. in March this year with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,381.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexandra Nechita konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner wechselte die Arbeit When Spring Returns für USD 701,25 (€ 658,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Nechita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sky Diver II 60 x 36 in. (152.4 x 91.4 cm) framed 67 1/2 x 43 1/2 x 3 3/4 in. im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.381,90).
