Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sing like a Red Dog, 1996 by Alexandra Nechita was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,506.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alexandra Nechita have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March this year the work Sky Diver II 60 x 36 in. (152.4 x 91.4 cm) framed 67 1/2 x 43 1/2 x 3 3/4 in. was auctioned for USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,381.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sing like a Red Dog, 1996 von Alexandra Nechita kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.506,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alexandra Nechita konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März diesen Jahres die Arbeit Sky Diver II 60 x 36 in. (152.4 x 91.4 cm) framed 67 1/2 x 43 1/2 x 3 3/4 in. für USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.381,90) versteigert.
