In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Mother And Child. by Alexandra Frostrerus-Såltin for EUR 2,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction International Spring Sale, Helsinki F159 at Bukowski in Helsinki and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Mother And Child. is the most expensive artwork by Alexandra Frostrerus-Såltin that we have observed at auction so far.
