Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alexandr Victorovich Moravov could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work The Conversation changed hands for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,494.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Alexandr Victorovich Moravov have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2020 by the work 'At the watering place' at GBP 69,000.00 (€ 77,027.28).
