The auction ended at the price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,084.15), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Vasilievich Shevchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The city outskirts in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 533,720.04).
