Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Georgian Girls by Alexander Vasilievich Shevchenko. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,063.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Vasilievich Shevchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The city outskirts in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 533,720.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Georgian Girls von Alexander Vasilievich Shevchenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.063,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Vasilievich Shevchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The city outskirts im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 533.720,04).
