In December this year Bukowski held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work "Lord Chamberlain John Jennings" (1729-1773) by Alexander Roslin. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 540,000.00 (€ 48,571.69), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Roslin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work PORTRAITS OF LOUIS AND OF MARGUERITE DE CONZIÉ (1697-1763 AND 1721-1786) in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 387,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bukowski die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Lord Chamberlain John Jennings" (1729-1773) von Alexander Roslin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 540.000,00 (€ 48.571,69) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Roslin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit PORTRAITS OF LOUIS AND OF MARGUERITE DE CONZIÉ (1697-1763 AND 1721-1786) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 387.600,00.
