Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Bashkirs on horseback; and Two Cossacks on horseback by Alexander Orlovsky was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,549.05). Admittedly, works by Alexander Orlovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Battle between the Georgians and the mountain tribes in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 68,701.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Bashkirs on horseback; and Two Cossacks on horseback von Alexander Orlovsky wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.549,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Orlovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Battle between the Georgians and the mountain tribes im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 68.701,35).
