Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work State of astonishment by Alexander Orlovsky. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,929.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Orlovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Battle between the Georgians and the mountain tribes in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 68,701.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit State of astonishment von Alexander Orlovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.929,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Orlovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Battle between the Georgians and the mountain tribes im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 68.701,35).
