The price achieved of NLG 70,500.00 (€ 33,961.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Keirincx - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Travellers On A Forest Path, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 78,832.15).
