Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Wooded Landscape With Figures On The Bank Of A River, A Windmill In The Distance by Alexander Keirincx was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,030.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Keirincx - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Travellers On A Forest Path, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 78,832.15).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.030,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Keirincx mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Travellers On A Forest Path beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 78.832,15) versteigert wurde.
