Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,394.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Keirincx have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Travellers On A Forest Path in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 78,832.15).

Die Arbeit Landscape With A Herder And His Cows On The Edge Of A Wood, With A Mother And Child Feeding Chickens Beside A Building von Alexander Keirincx kam im Mai 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.394,03) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Keirincx auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Travellers On A Forest Path im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 78.832,15).
