The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,843.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Jamieson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dieppe in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,123.16).
