Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Young Seamstress by Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,600.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,306.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The letter of recommendation in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 23,518.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Young Seamstress von Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.600,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.306,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
