Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Confidences by Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 446.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The letter of recommendation in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 23,518.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Confidences von Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 446,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The letter of recommendation im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.150,00 (€ 23.518,29).
