Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of NLG 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of NLG 3,042.52 (€ 1,294.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The letter of recommendation in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 23,518.29).
