Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hostage from a Raid 20 x 24 in. framed 30 x 34 in. by Alexander Harmer was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 2,432.00 (€ 2,229.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Harmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mission San Juan Capistrano in November last year with an auction result of USD 35,655.00 (€ 34,539.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.432,00 (€ 2.229,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
