Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,465.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Serebriakoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ensemble De Six Panneaux Trompe L'Oeil, which sold at auction in September 2012 for EUR 46,600.00.
