It achieved a price of USD 44,100.00 (€ 38,964.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Archipenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,464,000.00 (€ 2,169,740.45).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 38.964,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Archipenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.464.000,00 (€ 2.169.740,45).
