Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition by Alex Smadja was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 701.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alex Smadja have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition, 1958 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 6,196.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von Alex Smadja wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 701,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Smadja auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition, 1958 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.196,00.
