The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 411.25 (€ 649.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A line of windmills on the coast is the most expensive artwork by Alexander Fuller Maitland that we have observed at auctions so far.
