This work of art by Alex A. Maldonado could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Outsider Art auction, the work Museum: Children's Art, 1986 changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 563.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex A. Maldonado - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 21st Century, 5 Telescopes in One X-Ray Computer, 1980, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,964.38).
