Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A stoneware vase modelled in four-sided shape and with a circular mouth by Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 5,500.00 (€ 737.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,357.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A stoneware vase modelled in four-sided shape and with a circular mouth von Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 5.500,00 (€ 737,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.357,72).
