Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work A large, circular stoneware bowl by Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 17,500.00 (€ 2,347.13), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,357.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit A large, circular stoneware bowl von Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 17.500,00 (€ 2.347,13) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.357,72).
