Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov, which included the work Village Scene by Alexei Isupov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,428.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexei Isupov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Milliner in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 183,044.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village Scene von Alexei Isupov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 14.428,24) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexei Isupov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Milliner im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 183.044,74).
