Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,057.50 (€ 1,250.74). Admittedly, works by Alessandro Sanquirico have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Coronation of Emperor Ferdinand I as King of Lombardy-Venetia, in the Duomo in Milan, 1 September 1838 in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,349.07).
