In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art, which included the work Ceres by Alessandro Rosi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 26,952.36), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Rosi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 344,750.00 (€ 386,540.56).

Im Januar 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ceres von Alessandro Rosi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 26.952,36) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Rosi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Holy Family im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 344.750,00 (€ 386.540,56).
