A top price for Aleksei Remizov
This artwork by Aleksei Remizov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2016. In the Russian Art auction, the work Portrait of Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837) sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,123.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. This high result makes Portrait of Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837) the most expensive artwork by Aleksei Remizov that we have observed at auctions so far.
