In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work The Bureaucrats by Aleksei Remizov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,694.07), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aleksei Remizov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837), which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,123.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bureaucrats von Aleksei Remizov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.694,07) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Aleksei Remizov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.123,16) versteigert wurde.
