Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition abstraite by Alecos Condopoulos was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 10,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alecos Condopoulos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Masque de cire, which sold at auction in November 2021 for EUR 40,312.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition abstraite von Alecos Condopoulos kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alecos Condopoulos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Masque de cire beobachtet, die im November 2021 für EUR 40.312,50 versteigert wurde.
