Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Aldo Chaparro was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,252.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aldo Chaparro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Acero in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,149.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aldo Chaparro wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.252,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldo Chaparro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Acero im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.149,54).
