In June 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale, which included the work German pferde Auf Der Weide (Arabian Horses At Pasture) by Albrecht Adam. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,482.79), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Albrecht Adam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Das Gefecht bei Pápa am 12. Juni 1809. 1844. in September 2015 with an auction result of CHF 204,500.00 (€ 187,461.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit German pferde Auf Der Weide (Arabian Horses At Pasture) von Albrecht Adam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 36.482,79) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albrecht Adam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Das Gefecht bei Pápa am 12. Juni 1809. 1844. im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 204.500,00 (€ 187.461,39).
