Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composizione con pesci by Alberto Ziveri was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of ITL 3,500,000.00 – 5,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of ITL 3,760,000.00 (€ 3,459.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alberto Ziveri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mercato di notte in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 32,960.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composizione con pesci von Alberto Ziveri kam im November 2000 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von ITL 3.500.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von ITL 3.760.000,00 (€ 3.459,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Ziveri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mercato di notte im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.960,00.
