Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2004 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work The Harem Bath by Alberto Rossi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,377.50 (€ 4,374.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alberto Rossi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I Minatori in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Harem Bath von Alberto Rossi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.377,50 (€ 4.374,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Rossi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit I Minatori im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
