In December 2013 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects, which included the work Il parco segreto by Alberto Martini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Martini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work André Breton in March this year with an auction result of EUR 35,655.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il parco segreto von Alberto Martini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Martini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit André Breton im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.655,00.
