Despite a disappointment, a good price for Alberto Fabbi
This work of art by Alberto Fabbi could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision auction, the work Italian Odalisques changed hands for GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Italian Odalisques is the most expensive artwork by Alberto Fabbi that we have observed at auction so far.
