Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Sunset by the beach by Albert Wang for DKK 14,500.00 (€ 1,945.15). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Wang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abendstimmung an der dänischen Küste, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sunset by the beach von Albert Wang für DKK 14.500,00 (€ 1.945,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Wang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abendstimmung an der dänischen Küste beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
