The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,100.00 (€ 5,067.06), 70% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Albert Thomas DeRome; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Monterey Cypresses, Monterey Point sold at auction in April 2019 with the realized price of USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,436.75).

Die Arbeit Los Gatos and Spanish Bay Dunes, 17 Mile Drive (a group of two) von Albert Thomas DeRome wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 5.067,06) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
