In May 2014 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Fantasia by Albert Pilot. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,380.00 69% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Albert Pilot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marrakech, Place Djema El Fna, Le Soir in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 14,260.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 69 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fantasia von Albert Pilot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.380,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Pilot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marrakech, Place Djema El Fna, Le Soir im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.260,00.
