Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aelbert Meyeringh could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Quality in Detail. The Juli and Andrew Wieg Collection auction, the work Arcadian landscape changed hands for GBP 630.00 (€ 740.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aelbert Meyeringh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A winter scene of the Weesper poort, Amsterdam, with townsfolk in a park and a frozen canal with skaters and kolf players in June 2012 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,964.00).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A winter scene of the Weesper poort, Amsterdam, with townsfolk in a park and a frozen canal with skaters and kolf players im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 91.964,00).
