Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Geometric decoration on a yellow fund by Albert Johansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 3,278.86). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Johansson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Anatta", which sold at auction in April 2012 for SEK 92,000.00 (€ 10,334.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Geometric decoration on a yellow fund von Albert Johansson im April 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 3.278,86) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Johansson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Anatta" beobachtet, die im April 2012 für SEK 92.000,00 (€ 10.334,27) versteigert wurde.
