In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters Online, which included the work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Half Length by Albert Gregorius. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,585.84) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of A Gentleman, Half Length is the most expensive artwork by Albert Gregorius that we have observed at auctions so far.
