the complete set of 12 etchings, circa 1672, on laid paper, two with indistinct watermarks, the others without, a uniform set of this rare series, very good impressions, trimmed on or just inside the platemarks but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline and the text below, some sheets with scattered foxing and minor stains, generally in good condition.

Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Livre d'Oiseaux (A Book of Birds) by Albert Flamen for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,181.88). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Albert Flamen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Album Of 22 Leaves, Containing Sketches Of Landscapes, Riders And Other Figures in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,185.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Livre d'Oiseaux (A Book of Birds) von Albert Flamen für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.181,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Flamen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Album Of 22 Leaves, Containing Sketches Of Landscapes, Riders And Other Figures im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.185,19).
