Auction result misses estimated price range
In July last year a collector was able to acquire the work A view of Paris, looking towards Montmartre by Albert Flamen for GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,717.72). This price was achieved in the auction Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Albert Flamen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2014 by the work An Album Of 22 Leaves, Containing Sketches Of Landscapes, Riders And Other Figures at USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,185.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A view of Paris, looking towards Montmartre von Albert Flamen für GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.717,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Albert Flamen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2014 die Arbeit An Album Of 22 Leaves, Containing Sketches Of Landscapes, Riders And Other Figures mit USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.185,19).
