Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre - 1968 by Albert Chubac was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in April 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,040.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Chubac - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in December 2012 for EUR 2,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1968 von Albert Chubac wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.040,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Chubac mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im Dezember 2012 für EUR 2.125,00 versteigert wurde.
