However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Chavaz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le canal de France, 1980., which sold at auction in November 2017 for CHF 3,250.00 (€ 2,776.35).

Die Arbeit Due figure von Albert Chavaz kam im Dezember 2011 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Chavaz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le canal de France, 1980. beobachtet, die im November 2017 für CHF 3.250,00 (€ 2.776,35) versteigert wurde.
