Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Coastal landscape in cattle in sunset by Albert Blombergsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 933.79). Admittedly, works by Albert Blombergsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motif from Siljan and Leksand. in June 2020 with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,737.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Coastal landscape in cattle in sunset von Albert Blombergsson im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 933,79) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Blombergsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motif from Siljan and Leksand. im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.737,69).
